How did you become interested in soccer?
When I was really young, to be honest. My earliest memory of soccer is probably from when I was four-years-old. I still have all the memories when I was really young and used to practice soccer by myself.
At what age did you notice your skills were better than those around you?
I’ve never thought of my skills as better than anyone else. I was always more focused inwardly, on my own development and on my goal which was to become professional player, which means a lot of work, sacrifices and giving the best of yourself to achieve this goal and to get to the next level.
What is your training schedule like? Do you practice every day?
I do a bit of everything and my training is between one hour to one hour and a half every single day. For example, there are cardio exercises to help to keep my endurance strong, and then a variety of other exercises. Ultimately it is daily training and there is no secret. The more you work out regularly the better the results are. It is also important to have a healthy and balanced diet to be in very good shape.
Who is the sports icon that has influenced you the most?
For me, Ronaldo Luis Nazário de Lima influenced me the most. For me, he is my role model. It’s thanks to him that I developed a passion for soccer. When you saw him play, you were inspired by his ability. He has all the levels that a soccer player dreams to have and he’s something special to watch.
What other sports do you love to play, and how would you rate your skills?
I would say most of them but I especially like tennis and play ping pong.
What are your philanthropic goals in the future?
My goals are to always try to go further for everything that i’m doing and obviously to push my own limits.
If you weren’t a soccer player, what profession would you have gone into?
I’ve never thought about that because I enjoy my passion. It’s always been football for me, and the dream and reality of being a football player.
What music genres and which artists do you enjoy listening to before a match?
I love music and especially different musical styles like Funk, Rap, RnB the songs that I listen to depend on the moment and my mood as well, like Tupac, Booba, Jacquees, Koffee.
What’s the most frustrating game you’ve ever been a part of?
The most frustrating game is every game. Every game is hard.
Do you want to coach/manage one day? If so, which team would you choose?
I probably won’t coach one day, and I’ll tell you why not. For me, my greatest goal is the victories I have had as an active part of the team. Currently, my passion and the love that I have for soccer are pushing me to my next new victories, scoring goals, coming out on top, to participate to the games and help and be present for the team.
