Two years after the release of L'Immensité, Nouveau Monde, Orage, Sur la Route and Au Hasard, Louis Vuitton continues its conquest of new olfactory territories, dedicated to people, to their emotions experienced while travelling, their thirst for adventure and escape. The start of the new season in 2020 marks a new exploration for the Maison - that of a celestial phenomenon with unique magnetic power. With Météore, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud's Master Perfumer touches a force from the Universe evoking power and light.

Main notes: Italian tangerine, Tunisian neroli, Italian bergamot, black pepper, pink pepper from Reunion Island, Sichuan pepper, Java vetiver.

How to capture and bottle this intense phenomenon whose vivid appearance manages to captivate the entire planet? For Jacques Cavallier Belletrud - an olfactory expert light years away from taking up his first challenge - Météore is the result of his research into freshness, revealed here from a new angle, through a crystalline and powerful composition.

"Here, freshness is no longer just a starting point, it becomes a major axis, a backbone around which all the other elements are orchestrated and intertwined" - Jacques Cavallier Belletrud

To infuse this lively energy, Calabrian bergamot, tangerine and Sicilian orange burst forth and cascade their sun-drenched scents. Their exceptional quality gives them an unprecedented power and they infuse right to the heart of the perfume. The Tunisian neroli enhances the brightness of the citrus fruits before feeling the grandiose impact of a cocktail of spices revealed by a trio of sparkling and crackling peppers, which cling to the citrus fruits as if to better capture their light. As for the combination of Guatemalan cardamom and Indonesian nutmeg, it increases the depth of the fragrance tenfold and gives it a vibration of every moment. A play of contrasts in which the Master Perfumer excels, and where the textures can be discovered right on the skin. As a signature, and to bring this final touch of sophistication, he selects Java vetiver, an essence here magnified by a unique distillation process. Stripped of its smokier notes, the material shines by its complexity, exhaling amber facets, but also fresh and zesty grapefruit or wet earth. Dazzling.
