La Grande Arche, is this best Instagram location in Paris?

This is one of François Mitterrand's "great works". In the heart of the La Défense district, this spectacular monument, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. It is not only architectural masterpiece, it is also home to an impressive restaurant and art gallery.

The Great Arch designed by the Danish architect Johann Otto von Spreckelsen sits at the end of the historic Parisian axis linking the Arc de Triomphe, the Obelisk of Place de la Concorde and the Square Court of the Louvre.

At 110 m high, the roof of the Grande Arche offers a rooftop 360° views of Greater Paris, a delightful restaurant (called La City) and a 1200 m2 exhibition space.

For the reopening this year (after more than eight years of work), it has also been the home to a beautiful photojournalist galleryl. This year so far it has hosted the work of Nikos Aliagas, Jean-Marie Périer and Stéphane de Bourgies, with Yann Arthus-Bertrand presenting his works from June to September.
