“Luck takes us higher”

Once again, the heart of Monaco will shine brightly during the end of year celebrations. For smooth travel into 2020, Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer has picked an aerial theme: Luck takes us higher. During this festive period, hot air balloons will make the mythical Place du Casino sparkle, "L'Etoile des Neiges" will return to the Blue Gin of Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo will transform its patio into a fairy tale garden and the Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo will bring together young and old in the celebration of Christmas. A rich and diverse programme of festivities will delight all audiences from Friday, 6 December 2019 to Monday, 25 January 2020, with Nile Rodgers & the Chic Group performing on December 31st.


Place du Casino illuminated by the magic of hot air balloons from December 6th

To celebrate celestial luck, the Place du Casino will showcase four hot air balloons standing more than 6.50m tall, with baskets filled with gifts, will light up a forest of silver firs.

An extravaganza of mini-balloons will adorn the façade of the Café de Paris, the entrance to the Patio at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, the One Monte-Carlo quarter, the Jardin des Boulingrins and the Monte-Carlo Shopping Promenade where 50 luxury fashion shops will have the most sparkling decorations.

The Casino de Monte-Carlo will also join the festivities with luminous projection visible on its façade from December 28th to the 31st.

“L’Etoile des Neiges” will return to the Blue Gin of the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort

The Blue Gin’s ephemeral winter design is back with new surprises. From 5 December to 5 January, the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort's bar will transform itself into "L'Etoile des Neiges", showcasing a real mountain chalet. On the menu: "Christmas Games" to raise your luck at gaming tables, "Christmas Treats" from 1pm to 10:30pm and "Christmas Tea Time" from 3pm to 5:30pm. And to warm up during those cold winter evenings, go to the "Winter Party" every Thursday in December: all you need are good spirits and your best mountain attire.


A Christmas garden dedicated to crafts at the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo

The iconic Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo will be bringing back its chic and enchanting Christmas village thanks to the installation of five glasshouses, all transparent and illuminated, in the heart of its interior Patio, surrounded by fir trees. From December 6th to January 6th, the glasshouses will welcome artisans, there will be craft workshops for children & adults and an ephemeral bar. On 12 December 2019, a cheerful and sparkling “Bubble Party” will take place here.


Family and Christmas traditions at the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

Young and old will have a chance to meet Father Christmas on December 18th, 21st, 23rd and 24th, from 3pm to 6pm, and enjoy some delicious Christmas Snacks.  The programme includes workshops for little chefs taught by the hotel’s most talented pastry chefs, creative workshops based on the “Luck makes us rise” theme, face painters, a magician and the man of the season, Father Christmas.

The older ones will gather at the Beaumarchais Square around the amazing Airstream to enjoy sparkling grape and festive delicacies, nestled in one of the ephemeral bubbles, from December 9th to January 7th.


NYE: Nile Rodgers & the Chic Group at the Salle des Etoiles to celebrate the “Good Times” on December 31st

Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer's festive programme is always designed for you to enjoy, be thrilled and celebrate.  Highlights of the year 2019: a funk and disco dinner show at the Salle des Etoiles on December 31st, in the presence of legendary Nile Rodgers & Chic.

Are you looking for glamour and extravagance for New Year's Eve? The Empire Room of the Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo will host a Soirée of Burlesque Follies. Last but not least, good news for all food lovers, as the Resort's restaurants will offer their most gourmet creations during lunches, dinners and brunch parties.
