The Moulin Rouge celebrates its 130th anniversary

The most famous Parisian cabaret is celebrating its 130th anniversary this year.

A meeting place for all od Paris during the Belle Époque, the place, immortalized by the portraits of La Goulue by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, and more recently the film Moulin Rouge starring Nicole Kidman, the leading cabaret destination saw the most beautiful women of their time dance on its stage, applauded by international clientele. Even today, Féerie magazine offers, as in the early days, a profusion of feathers, rhinestones and sequins in a sumptuous setting. For French people and foreign visitors alike, a stay in Paris inevitably involves a visit to Le Moulin Rouge.
