The aerodynamic adidas Originals Superstar was created in 1969 with a modern, unisex design that marked the footwear industry forever. Now the brand is presenting its latest launch in collaboration with Prada, which remains a benchmark for avant-garde and international luxury. The brand takes up the timeless design with an Italian-style treatment, in which the artisanal process of Miuccia Prada's specialists fuses the language of luxury with the high performance of sportswear. Both companies shared a conceptual universe that knew how to interpret innovative codes beyond simple trends.
Both companies have an inherent respect for tradition. So it is not surprising that the campaign is a fantastic and surreal reinvention of the real process of creating the Prada Superstar, in the region of Le Marche, in which the viewers will be able to observe how the last details are implemented in each pair and witness the artisan process.
Taking excellence as a starting point, the fundamental character of Prada Superstar remains intact: an urban icon. Available in three different shades: monochrome white, black and white, and silver chrome with white, the Italian brand left intact the already recognizable characteristics of the Superstar, the triple line, the clover, the rubber tip, and of course, the special edition Prada X adidas Originals logo.
