The Valentino fashion house was founded in Rome in 1960 and since then it has represented one of the most outstanding expressions of couture savoir-faire and Made in Italy excellence.

The accessories rediscover these main features of Valentino fashion in a contemporary aesthetic vision that goes beyond the rules, allowing for a mix of styles that can express themselves and their uniqueness.

The Eyewear collection is an example of how this research can be translated into glasses with a distinctly contemporary style. Inspired by the unconventional and intellectual power of punk and the timeless appeal of Roman glamour in the ’60s and ’70s.

V is for Valentino

The V logo expresses the brand’s identity, giving the new eyewear collection an authentic look. Individuality and inclusiveness, values with which the brand identifies, are symbolically contained in the small and precious stud that distinguishes all of the fashion house’s glasses.


These ’70s-style jewel glasses have large grey gradient lenses and temples featuring a prominent V logo. The exquisite, slim ruthenium frame is covered – including the bridge and side rims – with a full pavé composed of Swarovski crystals and very small round studs that amplify its brightness. The model’s elegance, combined with its fine craftsmanship, lend it a charm that perfectly combines heritage and modernity. As usual, the temple tips are completed by the brand’s iconic stud. The glasses come in a Valentino red velvet case.


The focal point of these elegant rectangular sunglasses, which feature a bold profile with sculpted edges, is the temple, which is inset with an iconic full-size V logo. The monogram, a distinctly recognizable detail featured on many accessories in the SS2020 collection, is made of gunmetal metal and embellished by a sparkling pavé that mixes Swarovski crystals and tiny round studs that enhance its brightness. The exclusive craftsmanship also lightens the frame, giving the fit a perfect balance. Finished with the brand’s classic stud on the temple tip, the model comes in black or havana acetate with matching lenses, and is enclosed in a Valentino red velvet case.
