The feminist icon at the helm of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri has launched a new podcast series to “shine a light on female creatives”. The Creative Director of the French house chose the auspicious day of 8th March to launch the new series, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
A spokesperson for Dior said “Maria Grazia has always linked her work to art, and this first series is a way to know more about Maria Grazia's approach and to know more about each artist she’s been collaborating with through her different shows. Katy Hessel has been chosen to host the series because she is an art historian, and she has created the Instagram account and podcast @TheGreatWomenArtists, and like Maria Grazia, she aims to put light on female artists.”
The first episode features Marie Grazia Chiuri while the second episode will feature the renowned American artist, Judy Chicago. Take a listen to the first episode here: https://podcasts.dior.com/.
