Paris Photo, the French capital’s esteemed photography fair, is getting a fashionable addition this time around. The creative minds over at Saint Laurent are commencing a special art project, titled SELF, with the first installation premiering this weekend. From Friday, November 9 to Sunday, November 11, the left-bank natives will be presenting the work of Daido Moriyama, as curated by Anthony Vaccarello.
The brand is exhibiting the work in the Galeries d’Orléans courtyard in Paris’ Palais Royal, featuring a light installation. The exhibit will be accessible to the public and coincides with Moriyama’s separate exhibition also at the Palais. The photos feature a variety of still-life and portraiture meant to encapsulate Saint Laurent’s free-spirited identity.
