On Mondays, starting on the hour from 8 PM until 11 PM, classically trained solo cellist Soren Lyng Hansen will play three 45-minute sessions, live solo versions of the beautiful soundtrack that accompanies ‘From Monet to Kandinsky. A new family-friendly offer in December will also be music to the ears of families in the UAE. To spread a little extra festive cheer, ToDA is launching a festive offer from December 10-26 which will give families who buy two adult tickets one child’s ticket for free. The free ticket can be claimed at the box office in Souk Madinat Jumeirah. The offer is valid for online bookings and direct sales.
ToDA’s premiere exhibition, titled ‘From Monet to Kandinsky, Revolutionary Art’, is a first-of-its- kind presentation of classical art in digital format. The multimedia show runs at approximately 45 minutes and features the most important art movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, showcasing masterpieces by Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky, Georges Seurat, Paul Cézanne, Edvard Munch, Juan Gris, Robert Delaunay and Paul Klee. A fully immersive art, education and multi-media entertainment hub covering 1,800 sqm, ToDA utilises a unique combination of pioneering advanced technologies and clever storytelling to deliver interactive art, culture and science experiences.
ToDA can accommodate up to 500 visitors, but to align with Dubai-wide health and safety guidelines, it will begin operations at a reduced maximum capacity of 120 visitors with regular facility-wide sanitisation programmes.
