Cruise 2020: Louis Vuitton lands at JFK airport in New York
Fasten your seatbelts! On Wednesday evening, 08.05, it was Louis Vuitton's turn to showcase their Cruise 2020 collection, taking us directly to the TWA Flight Center, a passenger terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, which has been closed since 2001 .
Opened in 1962 and famous in the 80s and 90s, especially for the film "Hold me if you can", the space has spent twenty years abandoned and has just been reopened - the parade being the landmark of that moment. With the travel theme, the catwalk received an exciting collection that sums up the exaltation of comings and goings - nothing more appropriate for a brand that started selling travel chests.
With a look that takes us straight to the 1980s, the collection gave us shapely shoulders, snug sleeves, high waist trousers, balletic skirts and touches of intense colors such as bic blue and fuchsia that made all productions even more vibrant.
The collection even featured a good deal of leather pieces, textures and prints that can create eye-catching and unusual visual effects.
