An explosion of creativity at Gucci SS2020

Alessandro Michele surprises again this season mixing the surreal with seventies themes, in a collection that mesmerised crowds at the show.

From its unique setting and bold staging, Gucci set the tone for how the house envisions Spring/Summer 2020.

The looks presented at the show mixed the corporeal with the canvas - starting with a collection of seemingly static mannequins moving along an escalator.

Then follows an exceptional collection, in the continuity of the work already started by creative director Alessandro Michele. The seventies played big, from seductive materials and silhouettes to bold eyewear and tailoring. A strong start to the new fashion year from the Milanese powerhouse.
