From Killing Eve to LFW: We love Molly Goddard's new collection
The candy floss tulle creations from Molly Goddard first became a success after Villanelle (played by Jodie Comer) wore one of her dresses in British TV show Killing Eve. Since then, she has only grown in popularity and the art deco centre in London where she showed her Spring/Summer 2020 this week was packed out with well-heeled fashion crowds.
For Goddard's 10th collection she played to her strengths, showcasing designs which echoed the Villanelle piece (a standout in the show was Edie Campbell wearing a fuchsia billowing creation, while bright yellows and and floral designs also played strong).
The good news? If Molly Goddard's pieces previously only dared to find a place in our dreams or for special occasions, next season promises to be more homogeneous and easier to adapt to everyday life.
