Saint Laurent: the rock party of Paris Fashion Week
At the foot of the Eiffel Tower (and despite the capricious weather), Anthony Vaccarello, once again offered us a Saint Laurent show that was packed full of rock and roll energy. The backdrop of the show was a spectacle in itself: a futuristic lighting design composed of hundreds of spots moving to the rhythm of the music.
With a left-wing spirit, Anthony Vaccarello plays with all the concepts that built the Saint Laurent house: from the masculine-female tailoring spirit to 70s influences.
The show began with a variation of flowing silhouettes, with precious prints, and then ended with a symphony of black suits. A collection that gives the impression of a journey through time, replaying the house's favourite pieces, offering us a timeless Saint Laurent silhouette. To close the show Saint Laurent offered us Naomi Campbell in a sublime sequins suit.
