Inspired by the movement of water, the collection of miner Patricia Bonaldi plunges into the depths of the essence of the brand, based on intricate hand embroidery and bold prints.
Entitled "Acqua", pieces carry a retro print of hand drawn shells in the Ateliê Brasileiro da Maison. The colour palette consists of pastel shades of pink and green next to the bold prints of the brand.
Hand embroidered fringes and mesh details allude to the movement of water combined with delicate lace and silk fabrics that create an air of fluidity. The little darling beach dress - part lycra suitable for bathing, part cotton knitwear - returns revived this season.
Bonaldi, who founded a school in her home town, trains local craftsmen with the skills to preserve this level of detailed craftsmanship. The stunning beaded bralette with gold pearls and shells that are individually hand stitched in a process that takes 2 days, perfectly reflects the results of the pillar of each PatBO collection: the prominence of pearling and embroidery.
