A Blast From The Past With Max Mara

Max Mara draws on heritage prints as inspiration for Fall/Winter 2019.

The ability to strike a fine balance between the past and the future is the hallmark of the Max Mara imagination. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the brand’s FW19 collection, which celebrates this signature blend of tradition and innovation with the use of heritage prints on clothes and accessories. Taken from a scarf pattern first created in 1991 as a special commemoration of the brand’s 40th anniversary, the prints feature the work of the designers and artists that have collaborated with Max Mara over the years. From the sketches of Anne-Marie Beretta and Karl Lagerfeld to the distinctive font of the #maxmaragram logo to the drawings of renowned illustrator Brunetta Mateldi, the prints offer a walk through the creative history of the brand’s almost 70 years of existence.
