It bags come and go with every season, but the Fendi Peekaboo has stood the test of time. 11 years, to be exact. Designed by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the classic top-handle bag is so named for how the front flap can be pushed down to reveal a contrasting lining, a delightful surprise like the children’s game it’s titled after. In celebration of this icon, last year Fendi launched a campaign series called #MeAndMyPeekaboo, exploring the strength and beauty of family.
Following in the footsteps of Kim Kardashian and North West, Jessica and Crystal Jung, and more, Catherine Zeta-Jones and her daughter Carys Douglas are the new stars of the campaign’s latest instalment. Making their screen debut together, the actress and her mini-me dance through the streets of Rome to the soundtrack of Mary J. Blige’s Family Affair. With a vintage feel, the campaign shows off the Peekaboo in a more intimate light, reflecting the closeness of the duo’s mother-daughter bond. Check out the video below:
