Coach led by Creative Director Stuart Vevers presents the co-lab Coach X Basquiat for the Fall/Winter 2020 collection. The New York artist's work has always been a recurring source of inspiration for the fashion system. His most distinctive artwork becomes motifs featured on key pieces of the collection. The artist's artwork covers the oversized trench coat, t-shirts, bomber jacket, wool scarf, and all leather accessories. Irony and reflection, but there is never a lack of recurring symbolism in his work, including the artist's signature three-pointed crown and his dinosaur silohuette. Vevers collaborated for the collection with members of Jean-Michel Basquiat's family, the late artist's sisters Jeanine and Lisane Basquiat (ed. who were present at the show in New York), his niece Jessica Kelly modeled on the catwalk. With Debbie Harry another unforgettable fashion moment of the show; the singer-songwriter came out wearing her characteristic black sunglasses and a sweater printed with Basquiat's unmistakable scratchy brushstrokes.
