If you've ever had a Tamagotchi phase, Prada's latest project might be of interest to you. In collaboration with 2x4 New York, the Italian brand has unveiled its own family of half-technological, half-biological (and all-round adorable) creatures — the Pradamalia.

Born in the Prada Labs using Prada DNA, the Pradamalia family consists of 7 colourful characters with unique supernatural powers and personality quirks: Disco, Socks, Fiddle, Otto, Toto, Scuba, and Spot. The adorable creatures come to life in the campaign film below, which shows them confined within the Prada Labs (though not for long).

Smitten with Prada's miniature hybrids already? We don't blame you. You can officially adopt them for yourself from the Pradamalia collection of keychain tricks, earring sets, necklace charms, leather wallets and card holders and more.

Each character also comes in a special packaging that offers everything you'll need to know about your new pet, as well as stickers featuring the whole family. Our inner 12-year-olds couldn't be more excited.
