The summer months in the region mean moving from hot humid streets to icy air-conditioned indoor spaces. That's why we love the Spring Summer 2019 collection from Kristina Fidelskaya. The collection champions modest, feminine tailoring that are perfect for the long Gulf summer months.
The latest collection was inspired by the New Realism movement, "it is an ode to 'collective singularity,'" explained a spokesperson for the label. "The collection is an exploration of shapes, volumes and finishes defined not by a common thread but by the very differences that set them apart from each other," they continued.
Expect plenty of summer colours (blush shades, creamy whites and bold yellow tones), along with sharp blacks and metallic touches. The house was also inspired by the natural world for the collection, which is reflected through the choice of fabrics (think techno-taffeta, metallic viscose gazar and laminated silk poplin).
