For the first time, the Swiss firm opens the doors of its watch and jewellery workshop to pay tribute to its craftsmen with a series of short films. The Maison is truly proud of the excellent work they do. These men and women carry with them the secrets of the savoir-faire that has positioned the Maison as a reference point in the world of luxury. These "Mains d'Art" are the heart of the workshops and the true creators of emotions, who have maintained in Chopard the respect for tradition, innovation and craftsmanship.

Any attempt to play with the impossible, to give life to the most perfect timepieces necessarily begins with the mastery of creation and production of each process. It is in the ateliers where all the skills necessary to achieve excellence are integrated. From the work of placing gems to the engravings, a visit to the Haute Horlogerie workshops is an invaluable opportunity to discover the different stages that make great creations a reality. It all begins with a simple sketch - known to jewellers as the gouache painting- followed by a 3D construction, which culminates in the making of the piece of jewellery and the placement of the gems. This selection is made by Co-President Caroline Scheufele, who has been immersed in the world of gems since her childhood.

Within the walls of the workshop and with a privileged view of the Swiss mountains of Neuchâtel, the artisans make emblematic pieces of traditional craftsmanship, using contemporary tools. Chopard's Co-President, Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, wanted to make a real return to the heart of watchmaking and the founder of the Maison, so, enthusiastic about reviving an ancient tradition, he allowed a craftswoman to train in Fleurisanne engraving, with delicate floral ornaments.

Full Strike watches with infinite patience. As does Paulo, a craftsman at Gold Foundry, who shapes the gold bars used to bring the firm's jewellery and watches to life.
