With acclaimed international DJs Sam Feldt and Nicky Romero confirmed as headline acts, the Corona Sunsets Festival returns to Dubai this month, and will showcase a sustainable pop-up bar - a first in the city - focusing on serving zero waste tipples.
Allowing festival-goers the chance to experience the change and committed efforts contributing to the sustainable awareness of the Corona Sunsets Festival and the consumer “DrinkPrint”, the pop-up bar will invite participants to join a short workshop for a glimpse of how a zero-waste bar can run and how to implement these efforts in everyday life. Revellers will leave with a Corona creation in hand, made using zero waste principles, taking inspiration from the Clean Waves Collective to implement these rituals into their everyday routine.
Aside from scrumptious, sustainability-conscious drinks (and a top-notch BBQ serving all manner of delicious grilled goodies) this will be a visual feast for the eyes too.Transforming the beach into an organic, open-air gallery by using bamboo to create jaw dropping artistic structures made entirely out of sustainable materials, the festival will boast the world’s largest grass species installation, which will be constructed as walk-through pieces to highlight the seamless marriage between art, engineering, and human interaction.
The eco vibe continues with an OHOY SWIM beach boutique featuring swimwear made from fishing nets and other recycled plastics from the ocean, and reclaimed wooden sunglasses from Wildwood, who will be joining the Clean Waves Collective team. Immerse yourself in the live art made from recycled waste and sign up to the 30-day pledge by going totally plastic-free.
